GC's Work Earns $25,000

Green Convergence just earned a $25,000 grant on behalf of a client. The grant was given by Santa Clarita's Green Energy Incentive Program, which assists local businesses in becoming more environmentally sustainable. The city gives grants to businesses that reduce their total energy use, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce fossil fuel emissions, and improve energy efficiency. Green Convergence earned the grant for our client, Hedman Partners. ConGRANTulations!

TURNING GREEN TO GOLD: Green Convergence Prius Wins Big

Los Angeles, CA, March 2010—Green Convergence’s own 2010 Toyota Prius, outfitted with a vehicle wrap by designer Scott Watters, was awarded a gold “ADDY”—a high honor given by the American Advertising Federation. The founder and creative director of Watters Edge Design in Santa Clarita is no stranger to the ADDY awards. Scott’s design for the hybrid will mark his 18th ADDY Award to date.

When Green Convergence presents the “Energy Zone” at Santa Clarita’s Earth Arbor Day Festival, the award-winning Prius will be on display. Green Convergence will also exhibit a working solar demonstration at the festival, held April 17th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in Santa Clarita’s Newhall Park.
